Water channel normalization on Jalan Limboto RW 04 Bendungan Hilir, Tanah Abang, which is being worked by Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency since January 12, is targeted for completion by mid February.

Head of Tanah Abang Water Resources Sub-agency, Eli Menawan Sari said normalization is carried out by 10 blue troop personnel because the condition of the channel was damaged and often caused flooding.

"The 40 meter long normalized channel using 40 x 40 centimeter u-ditch concrete," she said, Friday (1/30).

Meanwhile, Yeni (40), resident of Jalan Limboto RW 04 Benhil Urban Village, appreciated the channel improvement.

"Hopefully the channel improvement will smooth the water flow," she hoped.
