Head of the Sub-agency, Novy Christine Palit said the rabies vaccination service was carried out for two days, namely on January 28-29, 2026. The animals that were successfully vaccinated consisted of 71 dogs and 14 cats.

"This activity is our routine program in an effort to prevent rabies in North Jakarta," she said, Friday (1/30).

She explained apart from administering rabies vaccinations, personnel also gave vitamins to two dogs and one cat to maintain the animals' immune systems.

Through this free service, Novy hopes that public awareness of the importance of pet vaccination will continue to increase.

"We have also implemented vaccinations in every urban village. This year, we are targeting vaccination of 6,300 pets," she admitted.
