South Jakarta Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture (KPKP) Sub-agency successfully gave anti-rabies vaccination to 98 pets in Bangka Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan District.

Head of Mampang Prapatan KPKP Unit, Ernawati said the activity was run to January 26-28, 2026.
"The activity targeted cats, monkeys, dogs, and weasels," she said, Wednesday (1/28).
Ernawati detailed that on the first day of the implementation which took place at the Bangka Urban Village Office, her team succeeded in vaccinating 45 pets, consisting of 44 cats and one weasel.
Then, on the second day, at the RW 03 Post in Bangka Urban Village, 27 cats were successfully vaccinated. Furthermore, on the third day, at the Mampang Prapatan District Office, 26 cats were successfully vaccinated against rabies.
"All animals vaccinated against rabies for free have met the requirements, such as being at least four months old, in good health, and not pregnant," she added.
"We will continue this activity at other locations. We hope that the enthusiasm of pet owners will continue to grow," she continued.
Meanwhile, Indah, one of the pet owners, expressed her gratitude for the free rabies vaccination program, as she was greatly helped by the fact that her beloved cat had now received the rabies vaccine.
"This is exactly what I've been waiting for. I've been monitoring the information on Instagram," she admitted.
