Jakarta residents should keep their umbrellas handy this Wednesday, January 28, as the BMKG forecasts everything from overcast skies to moderate rainfall.

The morning started with rain, and while much of the capital—from Central to East Jakarta—will see cloudy skies by noon, light showers are expected to remain in the West.

By afternoon, the rain will become more widespread, hitting the entire metropolitan area.

As we head into the evening, showers will linger over West Jakarta and Seribu Islands, while the rest of the city stays overcast
