Personnel of Sawah Besar District's Public Works Taskforce patched six potholes along Jalan Gunung Sahari Raya, Tuesday (1/27).
Water puddles cause potholes in the road
Head of Sawah Besar District's Public Works Unit, Hezkiel Satyawiguna said the potholes in the location were caused by puddles when heavy rain fell several days ago.
"Water puddles cause potholes in the road, making it uncomfortable for road users to pass through," he said.
He added that road patching involved five yellow troop personnel using hotmix asphalt.
"The size of the potholes varies from four to 25 square meters," he added.
"We're targeting completion of the road patching today. Our personnel are continuing to make repairs," he admitted.
