The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts a mix of cloudy skies and moderate rainfall across Jakarta today.

"Rain in the morning," BMKG reported on its official site, setting a wet tone for the start of the day, Friday (1/23).

By noon, weather conditions will vary across the region. While the Seribu Islands transition to cloudy skies, light rain will continue to soak Central and North Jakarta. Meanwhile, residents in West, South, and East Jakarta should prepare for heavier, moderate-intensity downpours.

The rain isn't letting up. In the afternoon, light showers are expected in Seribu Islands, while moderate rain will blanket the rest of the city. This pattern is forecast to linger through the night, with moderate rain persisting across the mainland and light drizzles over the islands.

Today's temperature ranges from 23 to 28 degrees Celsius, with air humidity between 75 to 97 percent.
