Head of Road, Bridge and Road Equipment Section for the Sub-agency, Khairul Imam said the puddles on the flyover were caused by quite high and long-lasting rainfall, plus clogged drainage pipes.
"We cleaned the drains yesterday, but the blockage was caused by the soil from the plant pots above it," he said, Thursday (1/22).
In handling the puddles on this flyover, his party deployed 10 personnel to clean it up again to the maximum.
"The blockage is quite deep. Perhaps we should discuss this further later," he added.
He appealed to road users, especially four-wheeled vehicles to remain careful when crossing and for two-wheeled vehicles, according to the rules, they are not allowed to cross the Pesing Flyover.
