Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung stated the city's economic stability remains strong, supported by investment performance and fiscal management that have exceeded targets.

" Inflation is under control, economic activity continues, and the investment climate remains conducive,"

He made the statement while presenting the realization of the 2025 Regional Budget (APBD) during a press conference at the Balairung Hall, Jakarta City Hall, on Wednesday (1/21).

"Amid global and national economic dynamics, thankfully Jakarta's economy remains well maintained. Inflation is under control, economic activity continues, and the investment climate remains conducive," Pramono said.

According to him, Jakarta's economy continues to grow steadily, backed by effective fiscal policies, with cumulative growth reaching 5.03 percent. Bank Indonesia projects Jakarta's economic growth in 2025 to range between 4.6 and 5.4 percent.

The accommodation and food and beverage sector recorded one of the highest growth rates at 9.79 percent, contributing approximately 5.13 percent to the economy.

The presentation reflects the city's commitment to transparency and public accountability. As of December 31, 2025, the Jakarta APBD, budgeted at Rp91.86 trillion, had been realized with strong performance.

Regional revenue reached Rp79.94 trillion, derived not only from local taxes and retributions but also from asset utilization amounting to Rp448 billion. Meanwhile, regional expenditure stood at Rp76.05 trillion.

"Regional financing was recorded at Rp1.89 trillion, with a budget surplus (SiLPA) of Rp5.78 trillion as of December 2025, resulting in an overall budget surplus of Rp3.89 trillion," he explained.

Jakarta's economic growth in the third quarter of 2025 was recorded at 4.96 percent, indicating continued recovery and stability. The Consumer Confidence Index in December 2025 stood at 145.33.

"This reflects a high level of optimism," he added.

Pramono also noted strong investor confidence in the Jakarta Provincial Government, as reflected in the city's inflation rate of 2.63 percent, lower than the national inflation rate of 2.92 percent. Meanwhile, investment realization in 2025 reached Rp270.9 trillion.

With greater transparency and accountability, Pramono expressed hope that these achievements would benefit the Jakarta Provincial Government, the business community, and the public.

"Jakarta has a major responsibility to ensure that the benefits of development are felt by all of its residents," he stated.
