Two mobile pumps owned by Water Resources Sub-agency assisted by Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency's car successfully handled inundation at Senen Underpass.

The handling activity led by Central Jakarta Mayor, Arifin, involved dozens of joint personnel.

"The flooding occurred because one of the two stationary pumps operating in the underpass was experiencing problems, leaving only one pump capable of drawing water," he said.

His party moved quickly to deal with the flooding by deploying two fire trucks and a mobile pump from the Water Resources Sub-agency to carry out suction.

"We will evaluate the stationary pumps in several underpasses so that they can function optimally when it rains," he added.

Head of Senen District, Erik AP stated the inundation in the underpass occurred this morning and has been resolved. Motorized vehicles have been able to pass through the underpass since 12 PM.

"Flood control has been completed, allowing motorized vehicles to pass through the Senen underpass. Relief pumps remain on standby in anticipation of potential rain," he stated.
