As many as 45 joint personnel held a community service on Jalan Arteri RW 26, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. The activity was held to prevent inundation in Jakarta.

Head of Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Sarmudi said this cross-sectoral community service demonstrates the government's commitment to maintaining a clean, orderly, and flood-free environment. Activity was focused on constructing water channels, improving road levels, and draining and organizing water channels.

"We want to ensure that the water channels can function optimally and that the road conditions are tidier," he said.

He explained that the activity involved Kelapa Gading District Water Resource Unit, Bina Marga Sub-agency, Satpol PP, and Orange personnel of Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village.

He appealed to the public to play an active role in maintaining environmental cleanliness, especially by not throwing rubbish into water channels and regularly carrying out community service in their respective environments.

"We invite all residents to work together to keep the water channels clean," he appealed.

Meanwhile, Head of Kelapa Gading District's Water Resource Unit, Jhoni Sariyanto Situmorang explained 16 blue troops personnel were deployed during the activity.

This activity not only aimed to address technical problems in channels and roads, but also as a form of government preparedness in facing the rainy season.

"Hopefully this collaboration will eliminate inundation in Kelapa Gading area," he hoped.
