The Indonesia’s weather agency, BMKG, predicts a mix of clouds and light rain across the capital today, Wednesday (1/14).

The day is off to a soggy start, with the agency’s official site confirming "cloudy skies and rain in the morning" for the metropolitan area.

By this noon, conditions will vary: while the Seribu Islands and North Jakarta will remain overcast, light showers are expected to move through Central, West, South, and East Jakarta.

The rain is forecast to taper off by early evening, leaving the entire city under a blanket of clouds through the night. 

Temperatures will be mild, ranging from 23 to 28 degrees Celsius, with air humidity between 75 and 93 percent.
