As many as 150 joint personnel of East Jakarta Water Resources, City Park and Forestry Sub-agencies, and PPSU, Saturday (1/10), conducted communal work at Giri Kencana Cilangkap Reservoir, Cipayung. The activity is held up to Sunday (11/1).

Head of Cipayung District Water Resources Unit, Dian Kartika explained community service includes cleaning up trash in the reservoir area, installing a fence and changing the park.

"We deploy 100 Water Resources personnel assisted with other 50 personnel. They are deployed until tomorrow," she explained.

She added that this community service is carried out ahead of the reservoir inauguration which is planned to be carried out by Governor Pramono Anung, Monday (1/12).

Head of Cilangkap Urban Village, Suratno stated his side deploys 15 PPSU personnel to assist the existing personnel.

"We deploy 15 PPSU personnel to help clean up the area outside the reservoir . There's still a lot of debris to be cleared," he stated.

He also appealed to the public not to litter when the reservoir is opened to the public, for the common good.
