The Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) is forecasting a mix of overcast skies and moderate rainfall across Jakarta today.

"Cloudy in the morning," stated BMKG's official site, Friday (1/9).

While Seribu Islands will remain cloudy this noon, light rain is likely in Central and South Jakarta. Meanwhile, moderate showers are expected to soak the rest of the city, including North, West, and East Jakarta.

In the afternoon, the rain will taper off to light showers in Seribu Islands, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta, while other areas return to overcast conditions.

By tonight, the entire metropolitan area is expected to be under a blanket of clouds.

Today's air temperature ranges from 24 to 28 degrees Celsius, with air humidity between 74 and 95 percent.
