The Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) predicts a mix of clear skies and light rain for the capital today.

"The day began with partly cloudy skies and scattered rain," stated BMKG's official site, Thursday (1/8).

As the noon approaches, conditions will vary: while Seribu Islands will enjoy clear, sunny skies, the rest of the city—including Central, North, West, South, and East Jakarta—is expected to see light showers.

By afternoon, the clouds will return. Seribu Islands will shift to partly cloudy conditions, while the five areas will become overcast.

The evening outlook shows lingering clouds in Seribu Islands, North Jakarta, and West Jakarta. Central and South Jakarta will clear up slightly to partly cloudy skies, while East Jakarta is expected to see completely clear conditions tonight.

Today's temperature ranges from 23 to 29 degrees Celsius, with air humidity between 70 and 93 percent.
