The joint personnel gave written warning to the street vendors occupying sidewalks along Jalan Mampang Prapatan Raya, Tegal Parang Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan District, South Jakarta.

Head of Tegal Parang Urban Village, Etty Suryati said her side, together with the Satpol PP and related elements, carried out monitoring of the surrounding area as a follow-up to the leadership's directive regarding the arrangement of sidewalk functions on protocol routes.

"Today we are giving written warnings or appeals to traders occupying sidewalks along Jalan Mampang Prapatan Raya," she said, Wednesday (1/7).

She said that at least 10 street vendors were given written warnings. They included porridge vendors, coffee vendors, and siomay vendors. The vendors were cooperative and accepted the officers' warnings.

"The controlling is run since the sidewalk will be revitalized in the near future," she explained.

Meanwhile, Head of Tegal Parang Urban Village Satpol PP, Saiful stated the activity was run to follow-up to Regional Regulation Number 8/2007 about Public Order.

"The enforcement was carried out persuasively and humanely . We encouraged traders to find locations specifically designated for trading activities," he appealed.
