About 13,567 prone to fall trees were pruned by Central Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency during January to December 2025.

Head of Central Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency, Mila Ananda said of 13,567 trees, 2,692 trees were light pruned, 7,961 were medium pruned, and 295 trees were cut.

"The pruning was done to provide a sense of security and comfort for residents," he said.

According to Mila, her party also handled 220 splintered trees and 142 fallen ones.

Mila added this tree pruning follows up on residents' aspirations through letters and the results of monitoring by blue troop personnel at the sub-agency and urban village levels.
