As many as 225 personnel of South Jakarta Environmental Sub-agency are deployed to maintain cleanliness during and after New Year celebrations.

Head of South Jakarta Environmental Sub-agency, Dedy Setiono said those personnel will start their duty at 10 PM.

"Personnel are deployed to FX Sudirman, SCBD, and Literasi Park," he said, Wednesday (12/31).

He added that his rank has also prepared several vehicles to support cleanliness during the celebrations. The fleet consists of six inorganic waste trucks, five mini dump trucks, and 12 road sweepers.

"We also deploy four toilet buses equipped with clean and dirty water tankers," he added.

He reminded all personnel on duty in the field to maintain their health, considering that weather conditions tend to be unpredictable.

"I request that the rubbish on the streets be cleaned up by 4 AM and the South Jakarta area will be clean again as before by 6 AM," he stated.
