As many as 300 Central Jakarta Satpol PP personnel are deployed to guard and secure public order during the New Year's Eve, Wednesday (12/31) up to early Thursday (1/1).

Head of Central Jakarta Satpol PP, Hasudungan Panggabean said they are spread across several crowded locations such as the Thamrin-Sudirman area, Lapangan Banteng and the entertainment stage area in the yard of the Central Jakarta Mayor's Office.

"They are spread into a number of locations and 15 posts," he said, Wednesday (12/31).

Satpol PP personnel, continued Purnama, also conduct patrols around the area during the New Year's Eve celebrations.

Mostly the personnel started their duty at 2 PM and up to 1 AM tomorrow.

"Our personnel will also assist with cleaning after the New Year's Eve celebrations," he admitted.
