Tens of thousands of tourists visited the Taman Impian Jaya Ancol area, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan, North Jakarta, during the Christmas holiday period.

Corporate Communication of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, Daniel Windriatmoko said the Ancol area remains a favorite destination for the public during the 2025 Christmas holidays.

According to him, the number of tourists visiting Ancol reached 47,563 on Thursday 25, 2025. As of 12 PM today, 19,000 tourists had visited.

"The number of visitors is expected to increase through the afternoon and evening. In fact, it will continue to grow until the end of the year," he said, Friday (12/26).

He explained that in welcoming the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holiday period, Ancol presents a series of entertainment programs entitled "Holiday Full of Joy" which will run from December 21, 2025 to January 4, 2026.

"This program presents a variety of thematic events, musical entertainment, arts and culture, and family attractions," he explained.

Ancol presents a series of thematic events across all recreation units, from the beach area, Art Market, to family entertainment units such as Dunia Fantasi (Dufan), Sea World Ancol, Samudra Ancol, Atlantis, and Jakarta Bird Land.

According to him, personnel up to the security post involving the police, TNI, Satpol PP, Transportation Agency, Fire Handling Agency, and Operational Officers are also on standby to ensure the safety and comfort of visitors.

"We have also prepared parking pockets that can accommodate more than 10 thousand four-wheeled vehicles and more than 15 thousand two-wheeled vehicles spread throughout the Ancol area," he stated.

Meanwhile, one of the visitors came from Bekasi, Dira (35) admitted she took her children to Ancol during school holidays.

"Ancol has many choices of rides right up to the beach, the atmosphere is also pleasant, comfortabl e and orderly," she admitted.
