South Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency collaborated with Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Agency improving the quality of coaching and monitoring of the tourism industry at the Bengkel Space Building, Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD), Kebayoran Baru District.

The coaching activities were carried out in the form of socialization and question and answer sessions related to disaster and fire management, including technical aspects and preventive efforts in preventing fires in tourism businesses.

Several tourism businesses in the SCBD area participated in the event. Each business sent representatives or employees to receive training. Among the businesses in attendance were Bengkel Space, Swillhouse, Zoo, and TRUCE.

Head of South Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy, Jonie P. Rumimper said this activity is part of an effort to improve the quality of coaching and monitoring of the tourism industry, especially in the South Jakarta area.

"It is hoped that tourism business actors will have a better understanding of safety aspects and preparedness for potential disasters," he said, Thursday (12/18).

Meanwhile, Sub-agency's Head Section of Tourism Industry, Anang Hasbullah stated sustainable coaching is very important in order to improve the quality of the tourism industry in South Jakarta.

"We want the coaching we provide to reach a wider audience and have a significant impact on improving the quality and safety of the tourism industry," he hoped.
