Repair work on a collapsed section of the connecting (Phb) drainage wall on Jalan Petamburan IV is targeted for completion by the end of December.

Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency Drainage Maintenance Section Head, Citrin Indriati, said that 15 blue troops personnel have been repairing the 10-meter-long collapsed wall since Monday (12/15).

"We're aiming to complete the repairs within 15 working days , or by the end of December," she stated on Tuesday (12/16).

To prevent further damage, she added, her team is using river stones to rebuild the drainage wall.

Meanwhile, Yudi (39), a resident of RT 09/RW 05, Petamburan Urban Village, appreciated the swift response from the Central Jakarta SDA Sub-agency in following up on the residents' report via Jakarta Kini (JaKi) app.

"Thank you for the quick response in repairing the Phb channel. We don't have to worry anymore about the wall collapsing again," he expressed.
