Pramono added that material loss calculations are still ongoing. However, he emphasized that the impact of the losses is not significant.
"The Managing Director of Pasar Jaya has reported that the loss has been insured," he said, Monday (12/15).
As reported earlier, the fire incident happened at 7:24 AM. Mostly the burnt kiosks were banana and papaya.
Pramono also assured that food supplies in Jakarta would remain secure, given that the Kramat Jati Central Market is a major food distribution center. He noted that Jakarta currently has a significant surplus of food supplies.
"This incident has not affected Jakarta's food supply at all. There has been no increase in the prices of bananas and papaya," he emphasized.
