Eleven PPSU personnel worked to spruce up the pedestrian bridge (JPO) on Jalan Hajjah Tutty Alawiyah, Pejaten Barat, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.

"W e're organizing the JPO to make it look neat and pleasant,"

Pejaten Barat Urban Village Head, Yudi Setia Prawira, said the pedestrian bridge makeover was carried out under leadership instructions to provide better service to the community, especially those using public facilities.

"As instructed, we're organizing the JPO to make it look neat and pleasant, while also ensuring safety and comfort for users," he shared on Thursday (12/11).

He explained that the pedestrian bridge was beautified with various ornamental plants, such as snake plants, spider lilies, and red purslane, all cultivated at the urban village office.

"Before placing the plants, we cleaned the entire JPO area, including the railings and other parts of JPO," he added.

He noted that PPSU team will regularly take care of the plants, while further maintenance of the JPO will be coordinated with relevant parties.

"We urge JPO users to help keep it clean and orderly, and make sure no vandalism on this nicely arranged bridge," he stated.

Meanwhile, a local resident, Ressa (26), appreciated Pejaten Barat PPSU personnel for making the pedestrian bridge neater and more attractive.

"This definitely makes it more comfortable for us who use this JPO daily. Hopefully, other JPOs can be beautified like this too," she expressed.
