The Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Agency (PPKUKM) conducts Monitoring and Mapping of Policy Needs in the Industrial Sector.

To ensure the continued growth of Jakarta's economy

It is the Jakarta government's ongoing commitment to creating a conducive and adaptive business climate for industry players in the capital.

This event is specifically designed as an intensive dialogue space to absorb aspirations and provide a deep understanding of the latest business licensing regulations.

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo said, Jakarta plays a very strategic role in the national economy and emphasizes the importance of synergy between regulations and real-world practices.

She stated that Jakarta contributes 16.39 percent to Indonesia's economy. This means that almost one-sixth of the national economic growth is driven by Jakarta.

"With this overview, the industrial sector is one of the sectors that require special attention to ensure the continued growth of Jakarta's economy," she expressed, Wednesday (12/10).

She explained, the results of this needs assessment mapping will serve as the main basis for the PPKUKM Agency in formulating more accurate policy recommendations, closer to the actual conditions, and more supportive of the growth of the industrial sector in Jakarta as an important pillar driving regional and national economy.

"This demonstrates the active role of the Jakarta government as a strategic partner of the industry, ensuring that every policy issued is capable of supporting entrepreneurs towards global competitiveness," she explained.

Previously, Monitoring and Mapping of Sector Industrial Policy Needs was conducted at the North Jakarta Mayor's Office. The event featured expert speakers from the related ministries to provide technical briefings on policy implementation and licensing.

The interactive discussion and question-and-answer session then became the core of the activity, where industry players had the opportunity to directly express the challenges and needs they face.
