East Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin led the simultaneous planting on a land on Jalan Asyafiiyah, RW 03, Cilangkap, Cipayung, Friday (12/5).

East Jakarta has the most planting locations

Munjirin led the planting and harvesting of vegetables on land covering approximately 8,000 square meters accompanied by the Chairwoman of East Jakarta TP PKK, Essie Feransie Munjirin, and other related officials.

Munjirin said, the simultaneous planting program in East Jakarta is spread across 225 locations with details of 10 locations in Pasar Rebo, 22 locations in Cakung, nine locations in Pulogadung, 30 locations in Matraman, 28 locations in Duren Sawit, 34 locations in Makasar, 22 locations in Ciracas, 20 locations in Kramat Jati, 29 locations in Cipayung and 21 locations in Jatinegara.

"This simultaneous was conducted in five administration areas led by the Governor's wife," he said.

He added that his rank also harvested a number of vegetables in RW 03 Cilangkap. He plans to expand the 8,000-square-meter plot.

"A nutrient pool will be built considering that the land is still sufficient," he continued.

Meanwhile, Head of East Jakarta TP PKK, Essie Feransie Munjirin stated her side harvested on a former landfill measuring 8,000 square meters at RW 03 Cilangkap.

"The harvest included 25 kilograms of eggplant, 50 kilograms of water spinach, 10 kilograms of mustard greens, 30 kilograms of cassava and five kilograms of shallots," she stated.

Head of East Jakarta Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-agency, Taufik Yulianto explained the locations of this simultaneous planting activity varied, with a distribution of 50 locations in office buildings, 64 locations on vacant land, 27 locations in social and public facilities, three school locations, 14 locations in yards or alleys, 21 locations in farmer groups and 46 locations in RPTRA.

"East Jakarta has the most planting locations," he explained.
