Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung led a Townhall Meeting with the Sub-district Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimcam), along with sub-district and urban village heads, at Balai Agung, Jakarta City Hall, on Wednesday (12/3).
"This activity is a space for interaction,"
This meeting was organized as a forum for coordination, especially for recently inaugurated regional officials, to boost collaboration in implementing the 'Jaga Jakarta' spirit and preparing for upcoming year-end challenges.
"This activity is a space for interaction; it's not just bureaucracy from City Hall hierarchy downwards. The main point is coordination together with Forkopimda, main Forkopimda, especially with the police and military commands," Pramono said.
He cited an incident last August during a demonstration in Jakarta. Through collaboration and synergy with Forkopimda officials, the impact of the event was quickly resolved.
Pramono said this activity serves as a momentum to collectively protect Jakarta going forward. The tagline 'Jaga Jakarta', he added, has become a shared spirit among all Forkopimda apparatus.
Furthermore, in efforts to make Jakarta a competitive global city, the governor urged his team not only to make good decisions but also to communicate them clearly and transparently to the public.
He also outlined several projects to be completed and improved, including the stalled monorail project on Jalan Rasuna Said and the construction of a hospital on the Sumber Waras Hospital land without using regional budget funds (APBD).
Although the 2026 APBD budget is cut by up to Rp15 trillion, Pramono emphasized that the quality of development will not be affected, as the utilization of non-APBD funds will be optimized for Jakarta's development.
"Building Jakarta doesn't rely solely on the APBD. One of the city's key strengths is its ability to foster what we call trust," he asserted.
On the other hand, Jakarta Regional Secretary Uus Kuswanto explained that this activity is held to enhance cross-sector synergy among sub-district heads, urban village heads, regional work units (UKPDs), and Forkopimcam.
This event also served as an appreciation ceremony for three urban villages that won the 2025 Provincial-Level Urban Village Competition: Sunter Agung, Untung Jawa Island, and Bintaro.
"This event is also intended as a communication platform to strengthen solidarity and collaboration cross-sector between sub-districts, urban villages, UKPDs and Forkopimcam," he stated.
He also reported the issuance of the Regional Secretary Decree No. 175/2025 on Technical Guidelines for Managing Public Complaints, which enhances the role of sub-district heads. The improvements included the "Ayo Lapor Camat" tagline and an action feature on the CRM Camat account to follow-up recommendations on complaints.
Additionally, he mentioned a capacity-building activity for sub-district heads scheduled for December 5-6, 2025, aimed at strengthening competencies and providing technical guidance for implementing the “Ayo Lapor Camat” campaign.
"This momentum can boost motivation and performance across regions, including sub-district heads, urban village heads, and Forkopimcam members throughout Jakarta," he noted.
