PT Jakarta Transportation (Transjakarta) announced that Tanjung Duren Station in West Jakarta has fully resumed operations since Sunday, November 30, 2025. The station now offers a significant improvement in comfort for Transjakarta passengers.
The work goes quickly
This space optimization project is a response to customer feedback regarding congestion, especially during peak hours. Despite land limitations, Transjakarta has succeeded in maximizing the available space, resulting in a 35 percent increase in station capacity.
Through that extension, the initial area of the bus stop was 46 square meters with 184 customers capacity, now increased to 62 square meters with 248 customers capacity.
PT Transjakarta's Public Relations and CSR Department Head, Ayu Wardhani said, this area expansion aims to reduce queues and congestion, facilitate the flow of customers going up and down, and improve their comfort and safety while waiting for service.
"The work goes quickly, precisely from October 30 to November 29, 2025," he expressed, Wednesday (12/3).
He added, the completion of Tanjung Duren Bus Stop is a manifestation of Transjakarta's commitment to continually invest in improving quality and customer experience, so now it can provide a much more spacious and comfortable space.
"Transjakarta will continue to innovate and improve facilities to ensure the mobility of Jakarta residents becomes safer, more comfortable, and reliable," he said.
