Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency is repairing Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Barat in Karet Tengsin, Tanah Abang along 450 meters.

The road is important access heading to SDN 13 Karer Tengsin.

Head of Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency, M Soleh said his rank together with Bina Marga Agency has started the road repair along Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Barat since November 13, 2025.

"We are currently doing scraping work as a basic foundation before the asphalting process," he said, Tuesday (12/2).

He explained that Jalan Karet Pasar Baru is connected with Jalan KH Mas Mansyur along 450 meter with eight meter width.

"The road will be approximately 5.5 meters wide, with the remainder being used for drainage and sidewalks. It will be worked by Central Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency," he explained.

During the work, his side deploys two heavy equipment included with 12 personnel.

"The project is targeted for completion by the end of December 2025," he said.
