PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) welcomed a visit and comparative study from Audit Board (BPK) Regional Office for Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY).

The visit was part of the BPK Yogyakarta Office's effort to learn about public transport innovations and management strategies implemented by Transjakarta.
The delegation was led by Agustin Sugihartatik, Head of BPK Yogyakarta Office, accompanied by Head of Audit Division Ridwan Sani Matondang, along with examiners from BPK Yogyakarta office.
Transjakarta President Director Welfizon Yuza expressed appreciation for the visit and the opportunity to share insights into the company's service innovations and operational experiences.
"We see this visit as an appreciation of our work to advance public transit in Jakarta," he mentioned, on Friday (11/28).
During the discussion, both parties explored various topics related to transportation, including operational strategies, challenges, service improvements, digital innovation, and risk management.
"We hope this visit offers valuable insights for BPK DIY and encourages new steps in advancing transportation systems across Indonesia," he expressed.
Currently, Transjakarta’s service coverage has reached 91.8% and serves over 1.4 million passengers on average each day. To support this service, Transjakarta manages infrastructure that includes:
• Fleet: 5,163 buses
• Network: 409 km of corridors
• Facilities: 249 BRT bus shelters and 8,279 bus stop points
In this visit, BPK DIY delegation appreciated the various facilities Transjakarta has in place to monitor and enhance service safety, including its command center and the use of technology through the Bus Operations Control Management System (SMPOB) application, known as Syntra.
Moreover, they acknowledged Transjakarta's readiness in human resources by providing comprehensive training for drivers through the Transjakarta Academy, including cozy braking simulations and precision parking training to stop within 10 centimeters of the platform.
Transjakarta continues to improve services through digital innovation, including the "TJ: Transjakarta" app and integration with Google Maps for real-time bus tracking, travel duration info, and nearby stop locations. Additionally, an integrated control system at the command center is used to effectively monitor and manage the operations of the entire fleet.
