East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency rejuvenated 11 King Palm trees on Jalan Dr Soemarno, Pulo Gebang Urnan Village, Cakung District. Rejuvenation was run because the existing tree roots were considered to be rotten and prone to falling.

Head of East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency, Dwi Ponangsera said rejuvenation is being carried out as a precautionary measure to prevent tree falls. According to data, there are 30 King Palm trees that need rejuvenation, but only 11 have been addressed so far.

"The rest of King Palm trees to be rejuvenated this week ," he said, Tuesday (11/25).

He added that tabebuia trees to be planted along Jalan Dr Soemarno to beautify the area.

Meanwhile, Sub-agency's Green Lane and Cemetery Section Head, Made Widhi Adnyana Surya Pratita stated 25 personnel are deployed during the work.

"We also deploy one mobile crane and five trucks to accelerate the work," he stated.
