Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung expressed his intention to visit Ragunan Zoo (TMR) and see the condition of the tigers there firsthand.

He announced this plan following the viral video of tiger feed being taken home by a Ragunan officer.

"I will visit the Ragunan this week," he expressed after he inaugurated the Kampung Tanah Harapan, North Jakarta, Tuesday (11/18).

He revealed that the viral video about the condition of tigers in Ragunan is largely inaccurate, as it does not depict the animals there.

He is also reluctant to comment further on the narrative about the Lion King's weight being described as not ideal, since he has not seen the animal directly.

"But what circulated yesterday was mostly false, I'm sorry, it actually wasn't in Ragunan," he stated.
