South Jakarta still has good land for making absorption wells

Those eleven well pumps are useful for the construction of soak wells, especially in Kebayoran Baru Sub-district.

South Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar, said that this well pump is very beneficial as it can be used to reduce flooding.

"South Jakarta still has good land for making absorption wells. We need to make the movement to collect water through these absorption wells properly," he expressed, after the aid handover ceremony at Kebayoran Baru Sub-district Office, South Jakarta, Monday (11/17).

Besides receiving a borewell pump aid, he also attended in Kebayoran Baru to motivate his subordinates in the effort to solve environmental issues.

The issues currently being prioritized and must be handled well, he furthered, include flooding, fallen trees, and traffic jam in South Jakarta.

"I want all issues to be resolved well, accurately, and measurably. Do not let any issues drag on," he asserted.

Church Manager of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Yos Enos Kusumo explained, this well pump aid is part of efforts to assist in implementing government programs, particularly overcoming flooding issues in the area.

"As residents of South Jakarta, we will certainly continue to contribute. Hope our contributions can continue to be present in other areas," he stated.
