Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung expressed condolences over the death of a resident due to an accident involving JakLingko transportation in Cilangkap, East Jakarta.
Not to drive recklessly like that
"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un (We belong to God and to God we shall return), I have heard that the JakLingko driver hit a resident, Rahmat Juniarto, a motorbike driver in Cilangkap, resulting in his death," he expressed, Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (11/13).
He also ensured that the Jakarta government would cover all costs resulting from this accident.
"We will cover the financing for anything related to that," he explained.
Pramono also issued a stern warning to all transportation drivers under the Jakarta government to work professionally and cautiously. He reminded the drivers not to drive recklessly.
"I ask anyone, whether it's a JakLingko driver or a driver using facilities owned by the Jakarta government, not to drive recklessly like that," he explained.
He also instructed an investigation to be conducted regarding the accident that resulted in fatalities.
"Certainly, I asked the driver in detail, whether this incident was truly an accident or if there was negligence," he added.
As information, a motorcycle rider died in an accident involving the JakLingko mass transportation fleet. The incident occurred on Jalan Raya Cilangkap, Cipayung Sub-district, East Jakarta.
