The Jakarta City Council held a plenary meeting to convey the final results of the discussion of the Special Committee (Pansus) on Parking and the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) on the Jakarta Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) for the 2026 Fiscal Year, Tuesday (11/12).

Chairman of Jakarta City Council, Khoirudin expressed his appreciation for the performance of the Parking Special Committee, which has run its duties diligently and responsibly. During the deliberations, the Special Committee cooperated with the executive branch and various relevant stakeholders.
"In the discussion process, starting from joint working meetings with executives, public hearings, field reviews, to the preparation of the final report, all stages have been run in accordance with the applicable mechanisms and provisions," he said.
He hopes that the results of the Special Committee's work can provide recommendations and strategic policy directions for improving parking governance in Jakarta to make it more orderly and transparent, providing real benefits to the community and increasing regional income.
"We hope that the results of this discussion will be a real contribution in realizing a more modern parking system and supporting the comfort of Jakarta residents," he added.
In the second session of the plenary meeting discussing the Draft Regional Budget for Jakarta for the 2026 Fiscal Year, Khoirudin ensured that all discussion processes between Jakarta City Council commissions, the executive, and the Budget Agency (Banggar) together with the Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD) had been carried out in accordance with applicable mechanisms and provisions.
"This entire process is expected to be a momentum for evaluation and improvement of the performance of the Regional Government in order to improve the quality of implementation, planning and accountability of regional development," he continued.
After going through a process of discussion and joint approval, the Draft Regional Regulation on the 2026 Fiscal Year Regional Budget was finally ratified as a Regional Regulation (Perda) and submitted to the Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, for follow-up in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations.
The plenary session was then closed with the signing of the minutes of approval and submission of the Draft Regional Budget for the 2026 Fiscal Year between the Jakarta City Council and the Jakarta Provincial Government.
