Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung officially launched the Satu Data Jakarta portal at AA Maramis Building, Ministry of Finance, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (11/11).

" I am confident this will definitely bring impact and benefits,"

This launch is an effort by the Jakarta Provincial Government to establish transparent and accurate data governance as a foundation for policymaking toward becoming a global city.

This event also featured the signing of MoU between Jakarta Government and Statistics Indonesia (BPS) on developing sectoral statistics and Satu Data Indonesia, as well as with National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) on strengthening data security.

"This collaboration aims to ensure security and reliability of data not only owned by Jakarta Government, but also shared data that will be processed between Jakarta Government and Jakarta BPS," he said.

In his remarks, Pramono stressed the importance of high-quality and impactful data as a basis for decision-making, especially when facing fiscal challenges.

He gave an example that although Jakarta's Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH) was cut by Rp15 trillion, it didn't affect three main programs of Jakarta Government: Jakarta Smart Card (KJP), Jakarta Excellent Student Card (KJMU), and Employee Income Allowance (TPP) for civil servants.

He also affirmed that the Jakarta Government's performance will continue to improve despite budget cuts. This can be achieved through more transparent and faster decision-making processes, one of which is through Satu Data Jakarta Portal.

"As long as the data is properly and correctly used for good purposes, I am confident this will definitely bring impact and benefits," he stated.

Satu Data portal is a key initiative as it allows Jakarta to measure its progress and achievements. On this occasion, Governor expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between Jakarta Provincial Government and Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN).

He hopes the collaboration will be well-integrated and serve as a reference for Jakarta in its development efforts. He also welcomed the opportunity to support other regions interested in collaborating with Jakarta in using JAKI.

"Several regions are already using it, including Lampung, Aceh, and others. It shouldn't seem like only Jakarta has access to this,” he added.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Statistics (Kominfotik) Agency Head, Budi Awaluddin, explained that the development of Satu Data Jakarta Portal aligns with Presidential Regulation No. 39/2019 on Satu Data Indonesia.

This portal features 4,795 data sets from 53 organizations, including 51 local government agencies and 2 additional institutions. These are grouped into 30 strategic topics, such as health, education, social issues, and more.

"Our portal's data is fully integrated and regularly synced with Satu Data Indonesia Portal managed by Bappenas," he mentioned.

Satu Data Jakarta Portal can serve as a benchmark for other regions in managing and delivering high-quality data. This year's updated portal features three main improvements: interactive, insight-based data visualizations; AI-powered semantic search; and a more user-friendly, modern interface.

Additionally, the Jakarta Government, in collaboration with BPS Jakarta, is conducting thematic surveys, such as Satu Data Kelurahan and Satu Data RW, to update regional macro data, including identifying underdeveloped areas. According to Budi, the portal is also integrated with JAKI app, making it the main platform for data sharing and access across all city agencies (OPDs).

The MoU signed between the Jakarta Provincial Government and BPS aims to strengthen synergy in managing sectoral statistics and implementing Satu Data Indonesia. The cooperation with BSSN focuses on securing and protecting the data.

Indonesia Statistics Agency (BPS) Chairperson, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, expressed strong support for Jakarta's efforts to use data and statistics as the foundation for more targeted, evidence-based policies.

“BPS will remain committed to fully supporting Jakarta, especially with assistance from the Head of Jakarta BPS through the operation of Satu Data Jakarta Portal,” she stated.

National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) Head, Nugroho Sulistyo Budi, also expressed his appreciation to the Jakarta Provincial Government for launching the Satu Data Jakarta Portal. According to him, the portal is an integral part of the national Satu Data program, which has received special attention from President Prabowo.

"Satu Data is a breakthrough to build a collaborative, effective, and reliable national data ecosystem that ultimately ensures national digital data sovereignty," he shared.

However, Nugroho emphasized the challenges in data management, particularly regarding confidentiality, integrity, and availability. He stressed the importance of three key pillars in ensuring data security: technology, governance, and human resources.

“We must prevent unauthorized access to data, as well as potential damage, manipulation, theft, or even data breaches that could have serious consequences,” he asserted.
