The revitalization progress of water channel on Jalan Kemang Selatan XII, RT 06/01, Cipete Selatan Urban Village, Cilandak District, South Jakarta is reaching 70 percent.

Cilandak District's Water Resources Unit Head, Yansori said the channel improvement is part of the residents' request.

"The revitalization has been running since September 29, 2025," he said, Wednesday (11/5).

He added the revitalization is run along 153 meters by replacing channel's u-ditch. As many as seven personnel are deployed to work in this.

"The progress has reached 70 percent with the target of completion by the end of this month," she added.

Meanwhile, one of the local residents, Rahmat, appreciated the channel's revitalization.

He hoped the revitalization will smooth the water flow to avoid inundation during rain.

"Hopefully this can be completed on time," he hoped.
