The PPSU personnel of Jati Padang Urban Village, Pasar Minggu District, South Jakarta will ensure the cleanliness of RW 06 after the flood.

Head Section of Economy and Development of Jati Padang Urban Village, Yandi Trisandi said 24 PPSU personnel are deployed everyday.

"The cleanliness handling are also assisted by PPSU personnel from all urban villages in Pasar Minggu District," he said, Tuesday (11/4).

Yandi added that PPSU personnel are deployed to clean houses, praying houses, and schools as well as to assist Water Resources rank in handling the broken embankment.

The temporary embankment repair work was rushed manually from morning until noon. This is due to the frequent rain that often fell in the afternoon, which is feared to endanger personnel.

"The heavy equipment is unable to access the location," he added.

For repairs, Yandi continued, the resident has requested that the new embankment be higher than the old one. The embankment should be at least 3.5 meters high.

"The higher the embankment, the more effective it is expected to be in preventing water from overflowing," he stated.
