Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency held a Disability Job Fair 2025 in Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), Central Jakarta, Monday (11/3).

Hundreds of people with special needs were seen very enthusiastically applying to several private companies and regionally-owned companies.

Head of Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency, Syarifudin said the implementation of the Disability Job Fair 2025 is in line with the development direction of Jakarta Province towards a global city that is competitive and socially just.

"It is the Jakarta Provincial Government's commitment to realizing inclusive and equitable employment," he said.

He added that this job fair is participated by 21 companies by providing 170 job vacancies.

"This job fair is to provide opportunities for people with disabilities in the world of work, as well as encourage companies to implement inclusive employment," he added.

Moreover, his side also held an upskilling activity participated by 80 people with various training focuses such as digital marketing, batik making, public speaking, waste recycling, and graphic design.

There was also a micro, small and medium business exhibition participated by five people with disabilities.

He stated that his side has developed a special website for this activity to make it easier for people with disabilities accessing the job vacancies.
