Head of Central Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency, Mila Ananda said shade tree maintenance is run every day by pruning or cutting and felling, especially trees that are dry, dead and prone to falling.

Mila added that her side also cooperates with the Jakarta City Park and Forestry Agency's UP PTP to check trees using the Arbosonic tool to predict the decay level in tree trunks.
From January to October 26, 2025, she explained, 11,387 trees were pruned, 292 prone to fall trees were cut.
"Felling will be run in stages based on the level of vulnerability and decay of the trunks. After felling, replacement trees will be planted, consisting of flowering trees with safer trunk structures and more aesthetic characteristics," she explained.
