The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is urging Jakartans to prepare themselves with umbrellas and rain coats as it predicts that rain will pour over Jakarta today.

"Cloudy in the morning," stated BMKG's official site, Friday (10/31).

The agency said the Seribu Islands will have a cloudy noon while Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, and North Jakarta will see low-intensity rain. Then South Jakarta and East Jakarta will see moderate-intensity rain.

In the afternoon, light rain will continue to pour in South Jakarta and East Jakarta, except in Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Seribu Islands which see cloudy.

Entering evening, all areas of Jakarta will be cloudy.

Today's temperature ranges from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius with air humidity between 72 and 97 percent.
