About 28 Satpol PP personnel from Central Jakarta were deployed to assist in security at Senen and Cempaka Putih sport halls (GORs) during the National Student Sports Week (POPNAS) XVII and National Student Paralympic Week (PEPARPENAS) XI.

Central Jakarta Satpol PP Head, TP Purba said, 16 personnel were sent to Senen GOR and 12 were sent to Cempaka Putih GOR.

"They are assigned to anticipate disturbances to public order and tranquility (Trantibum)," he said, Thursday (10/30).

He explained they would be on standby from morning until evening during the event.

"They are divided into two shifts: from 7 AM to 12 PM and from 12 PM to 6 PM," he explained.

He added the management area security personnel at the other four venues are clearly responsible. They are Borobudur Hotel Tennis Court, Aquatic Stadium, Gelora Bung Karno Shooting Range, and Asiop Field.

"We also conduct mobile surveillance to ensure that no disruptions occur during this national sporting event," he concluded.

Central Jakarta Youth and Sports Sub-agency Head, Jokoargo Santoso explained, there are six venues to be used, including Senen GOR, Cempaka Putih GOR, Aquatic Stadium, and Gelora Bung Karno Shooting Range, Asiop Field, and Borobudur Hotel Tennis Court.

Six venues will be used as the locations for the competitions in Martial Art, Sepak Takraw, Swimming and Para-swimming, Shooting, Football, and Tennis.
