The Jakarta Branch Office for Bank Indonesia (KPw) recorded several positive achievements from the Jakarta Economic Forum (JEF) 2025 event.
Strengthen the regional economy
The number of visitors recorded exceeded 10,000 people, with more than 5,500 visitors utilizing services and education at various agency booths, such as Jakarta Government, Bank Indonesia, OJK, Kodam Jaya, Polda Metro Jaya, banking institutions, and various communities.
This event also generated economic activities totaling more than Rp 1 billion, consisting of offline and online transactions by MSMEs on e-commerce, as well as business matching activities and other economic activities.
Jakarta Branch Office for Bank Indonesia (KPw) Deputy Head, Yosamartha expressed his grateful and appreciation to all parties who have collaborated and contributed to the JEF 2025.
He added, the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area became a witness to the extraordinary enthusiasm of all elements of Jakarta society during the two days of JEF 2025.
"The collaboration that has been established shows that the spirit of #JagaJakarta is not just a slogan, but a real action to strengthen the regional economy," he expressed, Monday (10/27).
He explained, the enthusiasm reflected in JEF 2025 emphasizes that collaboration among all elements of society is the key to a better future for Jakarta.
He explained, JEF 2025 is not the end of collaboration with various strategic partners but the beginning of a long journey to make Jakarta a resilient, inclusive, and creative global city.
"Hopefully, all parties will keep working hand in hand to protect the city, the economy, and unity. Because only together can Jakarta grow as a city that is not only advanced but also culturally rich," he hoped.
Not only that, at the peak of the JEF 2025 event, the Jakarta Branch Bank Indonesia also received an award from the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) for the most consumer complaint handling in the payment system, with 4,211 complaint handles over a three-year period.
"Of course, with this achievement, it is hoped to maintain the spirit of always giving the best for Jakarta and Indonesia's glory," he explained MURI Head, Jaya Suprana.
As information, various series of activities have been carried out as part of JEF, including panel discussions and the launch of the book "Jakarta's Economic Transformation for Sustainable Growth," as well as a writing competition attended by more than 400 participants from youth, academics, and practitioners.
Other activities include Data Analytics Certification for BI scholarship recipients (GenBI), an Entrepreneurship Workshop for entrepreneurs with disabilities, and the implementation of the JEF Dialogue & JEF Policy Discussion forum.
The peak event of JEF 2025 held from October 25 to 26, 2025, marks the strong commitment of all elements of the pentahelix—government, academics, business world, community, media, and society—in realizing the spirit of #JagaJakarta to maintain the stability and resilience of the capital's economy.
