In order to facilitate communication and improve public services, Central Jakarta Mayor Arifin shared his personal phone number with residents.
"...can quickly and easily report various issues related to public services,"
“I gave out my mobile number so that RT, RW, LMK administrators, and PKK cadres can quickly and easily report various issues related to public services. This way, relevant sub-agencies can follow up accordingly,” said Arifin during a community gathering with Karet Tengsin residents at Tanah Abang Youth Sports Center (GOR) on Tuesday evening (10/21).
He noted that under the leadership of Governor Pramono Anung and Vice Governor Rano Karno, the Jakarta Provincial Government is strongly committed to improving the city.
Therefore, in his capacity as Central Jakarta Mayor, he said he is making himself accessible at any time and from anywhere to support residents seeking public services.
Arifin explained that regular meetings with local RT/RW, LMK, and PKK cadres are scheduled weekly in different urban villages.
At last night's meeting, Karet Tengsin residents raised concerns over road paving next to Karet Public Cemetery (TPU).
Responding to the issue, Arifin immediately assigned Central Jakarta Assistant for Economy and Development, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting, to coordinate directly with Urban Park and Forestry and Bina Marga Sub-agencies.
“This issue has already been raised twice by RW head, asking for the road to be paved. But it has been held up by asset authority matters. I've asked for the road next to TPU Karet Bivak to be repaved next year,” he asserted.
