The joint personnel of Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency, Bina Marga Sub-agency, PPSU, army and police, Thursday (10/16), controlled illegal parking on Jalan Jati Baru, Cideng, Gambir or precisely around Tanah Abang II Transjakarta Bus Stop.

Head of Central Jakarta Satpol PP, TP Purba said the controlling was based on Central Jakarta Mayor, Arifin's instruction.

"We controlled street vendors and online motorcycle taxis occupying sidewalks, including public transportation waiting for passengers on roadside," he said.

He also invited Cideng residents to maintain order and comfort, by not selling on the sidewalk or parking motorized vehicles on the roadside.

Meanwhile, Head of Gambir District, Nuralamsyah, admitted his side also involved caretakers of RT, RW, FKDM and LMK during the activity.

"We are inviting local residents and caretakers to maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the area," he stated.
