Jakarta City Council's Commission B Member, Francine Widjojo supports the policy of Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung who prioritizes budget allocation for diploma amnesty program, KJP, and KJMU amidst the cuts in the Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH) from the central government.
can make budget efficiencies
"We believe that the Jakarta Provincial Government can make budget efficiencies, which need to be prioritized. Beneficiaries of KJP and KJMU cannot be reduced," she said, Tuesday (10/14).
She explained that support for these budget priorities is given because programs such as diploma amnesty, KJP, and KJMU are considered very good and had a direct impact on the community.
According to her, the diploma amnesty program is a form of fulfilling the rights of students in Jakarta to be able to continue their education or work using their diplomas.
"This must be appreciated," she added.
Moreover, she continued, her side will also support other priority programs so that budget efficiency policies do not put pressure on important sectors in the capital.
"It includes the public transportation sector. That's the important thing," she stated.
