PT Transportasi Jakarta introduces Companion Mode feature on TJ: Transjakarta application and interactive AI Assistant to facilitate access to customer information and reporting.

Imagine if we have a personal assistant

Through this Companion Mode feature, customers can receive real-time guidance, important notifications, and route and stop recommendations via the TJ: Transjakarta application.

"This feature ensures a safer, more informative and interactive travel experience. Imagine if we have a personal assistant in our hand," said Raditya Maulana Rusdi, Transjakarta's Director of Information Technology Systems and Services, Friday (10/10).

Transjakarta also introduces an AI Assistant that has been specifically customized to meet Transjakarta's service needs. This AI is capable of two-way interaction with customers, such as answering questions, providing route and schedule guidance, and assisting with voice of customer (VoC) reporting.

"This AI Assistant allows every report, question, and customer input to be responded to more quickly, accurately, and measurably, while helping service officers focus on handling issues that require direct human handling," he added.

Transjakarta provides services that are more proactive, faster, and relevant to the needs of today's urban communities through Companion Mode and AI Assistant

"Our AI Assistant is not just an automated Q&A system, but is truly designed to guide the journey and understand the context of customer interactions," he continued.

Currently, Transjakarta is developing various types of AI technology, starting from Generative AI which will be gradually launched across all social media channels, to the Agentic AI stage which is capable of performing analysis and taking autonomous actions to improve service quality.

Then the development of Computer Vision AI is also continuously carried out to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in bus fleet allocation through a detection system that has been specifically customized for Transjakarta's needs.

"Transjakarta is committed to making Jakarta's public transportation not only user-friendly, but also adaptive to global technological developments," he emphasized.
