Jakarta City Council Chairman, Khoirudin, led a meeting to present the progress of the discussion results of the City Council's Special Committee (Pansus) 2025.
The second extension period has ended
One of the meeting's decisions is to extend the work period of the Special Committee for the next three months.
"The special committee's term is three months. When it expires, it can be extended for another three months. Today, we are meeting because the second extension period has ended," he expressed, at City Council building, Tuesday (9/30).
He explained that there were three special committees that had completed their discussions and would be followed up with the council's legislation body (Bapemperda).
The three were Education Implementation Special Committee, Utility Network Special Committee, and No Smoking Area Special Committee.
Meanwhile, the Parking Working Committee, which does not lead to the formation of a Bylaw, would continue its discussion by expanding the themes and scope of work.
Then the Special Committee for Regional Property Management (PMD) would be extended for the next three months.
"All the special committees have been approved to continue. We're extending it by three months, and at the very least, we will give a month to allow for changes or to expand the scope of their work," he said.
