Central Jakarta Mayor, Arifin together with his ranks, Friday (9/26), planted 17 pink tabebuia trees along the sidewalk of Sunda Kelapa Mosque, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

According to Arifin, this activity is a routine agenda for each city, namely 'Planting Friday' program in the context of greening and overcoming environmental pollution while welcoming Jakarta's five-century anniversary.
"Tree planting is run to make the city greener, making it more beautiful, with cleaner air and shady areas," he said, Friday (9/26).
He added that 246 pink tabebuia trees have been planted in eight districts.
He also invited residents to participate in planting trees in their yards or empty spaces in their area, in order to create a green and beautiful atmosphere.
"We will continue to plant these trees by looking for empty spots to make Central Jakarta a cooler city," he stated.
