The Tanjung Priok Sub-district Water Resources Executing Unit (SDA), North Jakarta is seen repairing the collapsed retaining wall on the connecting channel of Jalan Warakas VI, Gg 7, RT 12/09, Warakas Urban Village.
Everything is going smoothly
"After receiving the report a few days ago, we immediately took quick action to repair this retaining wall," expressed Tanjung Priok Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Neti Heriati, Friday (9/26).
She explained the retaining wall was repaired along nine meters with 1.9 meters high with the lower part is 40 centimeters and the upper is 20 centimeters. This involves seven personnel plus supporting equipment.
"This work has been ongoing since September 24, 2025. This is done by installing piles using wooden dowels to prevent the same incident. Afterward, river stones are placed to form the base of the retaining wall," she explained.
She explained, the construction process must be done with great care because it is directly adjacent to the residents' wall. It is targeted to be completed within two weeks.
"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), everything is going smoothly. Hopefully, the weather stays friendly so we can work optimally and complete it according to the targets," she hoped," she hoped.
The repair received appreciation from one of the residents, Amin (60).
"Hope it can be completed quickly so that the residents living near that connecting channel can stay safely and comfortably," he stated.
