PT Transjakarta has prepared two bus routes to connect the two stops around the Senen area intersection to facilitate elderly people and people with disabilities to access Jaga Jakarta Bus Stop (formerly Senen Sentral).
I don't need to go up the pedestrian bridge
This step is carried out during the repair process of the Pedestrian Bridge (JPO) around the area.
Two bus routes that stop to connect the two stations around Senen intersection, namely corridors 21 ST and 14.
Transjakarta Bus Corridor 21 ST is a connecting bus route from Senen Station that turns around at Lapangan Banteng.
Meanwhile, the Transjakarta bus operational for corridor 14 connects JIS with Senen.
Initially, the Transjakarta buses did not stop at Jaga Jakarta Bus Stop, but now they stop at both stops to pick up and drop off passengers.
Yeni (66), a resident of Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, said she easily accesses the Transjakarta bus from Jaga Jakarta Bus Stop to Senen Toyota Rangga Bus Stop, as she can take advantage of corridor 21 ST bus.
"Alhamdulillah (thank God), I don't need to go up the pedestrian bridge or cross because a connecting bus has been prepared," she admitted, Friday (9/19).
The same statement also came out from Nunik (64).
She explained that she takes the Transjakarta bus from JIS Bus Stop to handle retirement matters and health check-ups at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital. Usually, she takes corridor 14, gets off at Senen Toyota Bus Stop, then switches to Jalte Jaga Jakarta Bus Stop and crosses the pedestrian bridge.
"Now, the TransJakarta corridor 41 has stopped at Jaga Jakarta Bus Stop so I no longer need to get off at Senen Toyota Rangga Bus Stop," she added.
As information, the PUPR Ministry is continuously repairing the pedestrian bridge at the Senen intersection in Central Jakarta, which was damaged due to a protest a while ago.
